Fiji hockey juniors aim for Olympics

The Fiji Secondary Schools hockey Association is now working on developing talents of young players from grass root level in building up for the 2018 Olympic Games.

President Immanuel Prasad says they are eager selecting more players to show case their talents.

“From the secondary schools hockey, we were able to field Under 18 girls team to go to Nanjing, China. Now we are looking forward to the next Olympic Games and grooming the players now so that they will be ready in time for the Olympics in 2018.”

The three day Fiji Secondary School Hockey tournament will end later today at the National Hockey Centre in Suva.
